What's Involved In The Certification Process?

To become a Certified WayPay Wizard you must complete the mandatory online course curriculum. The online training takes approximately 60 mins to complete. There are a series of videos to watch followed by multiple choice questions.

 

Don’t worry if you don’t have time to complete the training in one go, your progress is saved, and you can come back to finish when it works best for you.

 

WayPay Wizard is free to sign up…but space is limited.

 

While WayPay Wizard is complimentary program, we do limit the number of bookkeepers in each cohort.

Earn Continuing Education Credits From The Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada (IPBC)

Attention all IPBC Members! The IPBC has awarded the WayPay Wizard Bookkeeper Certification Program 1.5 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) to all members who successfully complete and maintain the WayPay certification.

My firm is quite small. Does it makes sense to become a WayPay Wizard?
Absolutely it does.  WayPay supports firms of all shapes and sizes – from solopreneurs to firms with 1000’s of employees.  We believe that having access to tools that support the growth of your firm should not be a question of employee head count.  We are proud to serve firms of all sizes!
I have been using WayPay for a while now, what makes this program different than what I'm currently doing?
We are very fortunate to have so many bookkeepers and accountants already using WayPay! The Wizard Program creates greater resources to you and your practice. Same great payments platform paired with support and resources to help you get more of your clients realizing the benefits of WayPay!
How much does WayPay cost?
First, your account as a Wizard is ALWAYS FREE! Pricing for your clients is offered on a “Per Transaction” level if they only make a handful of monthly payments. Or you may wish to select a Monthly Subscription which provides cost certainty for clients making a large number of monthly transactions. Pricing options can be discussed with your Account Manager.
I don’t have time to on-board all of my clients, can WayPay help?
You bet we can. For firms that wish to have their clients set up their own accounts, WayPay will provide you with a promo code that you can share with your clients. When they sign up with WayPay their account will automatically be linked to your master account. WayPay will also provide you and your clients with easy to follow Account Set-Up Videos that makes onboarding a breeze!
The current cohort is currently full. When will the next one be offered? Is there a waiting list.
Due to demand for our certification and reseller program we have limited the number of participants in each cohort. This allows us to better serve our partners in the early stages of their work with us. Not to fear, the next cohort is right around the corner- WayPay currently offers 4 cohorts per year. After I complete my WayPay Wizard Certification, what’s next?
We want to get all our recent “grads” up and running as quickly as possible.  Once certified, you’ll receive an email from your dedicated Account Manager asking you to book a quick 30-minute call to walk you through the program and give you the tools and resources to get you started with your client onboarding.
